Hi Folks, Results at last. It is amazing how many variations there are on punching 40 sections
on two strips of 28 sections! At least two riders appear to have ridden an extra lap so I
have just counted the first 40 sections!
Any queries please get in touch and I will review the punchcards.
Thanks to Simon Rye and Dave Harris who set out on Friday, the marks seem to reflect the
well set out sections which tested the nerves occasionally, but were safe and everyone finished as
far as I know, although not all the cards were handed in. Feedback was positive.
Oliver and his dad, Ian, tied on the blue route although with differing lap scores, a very good result of 43
for Oliver on his electric bike. Connor stuck to his task and finished on the red route in the afternoon
and although the final score was high, it gives him a target to beat in the future .
The morning class was well supported with competition on the white route neck and neck. Steve and
Finn have a rivalry to spur each other on, and Ollie and Connor have now moved up to red, well done.
It was good to see our sole rider, Rose, enjoying herself in the morning class, and Oscar
improving his scores month by month
Thanks also to the day members who came and supported the trial, hope to see you all again,
Till next month, Gloria
